MURFREESBORO - May 12, 2008 - Main Street is gearing up for its annual Taste of Rutherford. This year's party will be held Friday, June 20. Main Street invites you to dine with Rutherford County's finest chefs during this special evening of delicious foods, wines and spirits, and entertainment held on the beautiful grounds of Oaklands Historic House.

Chefs will present a taste of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Among the many restaurants participating are Longhorn Steakhouse, Kirkenburt's, Dinner A'fare, Chef Place by Julio, Cornerstone Cheesecakes, Maple Street Grill, and Marina’s on the Square.

A special Patrons' Party will precede Taste of Rutherford for those interested in touring the historic home, tasting a selection of exceptional wines, and enjoying exquisite hors d'oeuvres from B. McNeel's. Only steps away the party continues for the evening.

A legend in Middle Tennessee BLACK WIDOW performs later in the evening. BLACK WIDOW has been one of the south's top Show and Dance bands for 30 years. The eight member stage show is a non-stop visual presentation enhanced with driving beats and the songs you love to hear and dance to time after time. From the sounds of the Big Chill/Motown to the retro seventies, eighties and nineties, BLACK WIDOW knows how to throw a party! Get ready to dance the night away under the stars with this exciting band.
