MURFREESBORO - May 26, 2009 - Main Street is gearing up for its annual Taste of Rutherford. This year's party will be held Saturday, July 25th. Main Street invites you to dine with Rutherford County's finest chefs during this special evening of delicious foods, wines and spirits, and entertainment held at the beautiful home of Ronnie Barrett.
Chefs will present a taste of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, and desserts. Over 25 Rutherford County restaurants and catering companies will offer delicious selections from their signature dishes.
A special Patrons' Party will precede Taste of Rutherford for those interested in touring the, tasting a selection of exceptional wines, and enjoying exquisite hors d'oeuvres from Maple Street Grill.
"We thank the chefs and their restaurants for providing an incredible evening of epicurean delights and to Mr. Barrett for opening his home along with his collection of antique cars and his all the beautiful amenities. Of course, we could not make this event successful if not for the hard work of our committee led by our chairs Dr. & Mrs. Ray Johnson.
